Im a father, leader, aviator, fisherman, former boxer and lifelong learner passionate about WWII history, restoration of cars/airplanes, and Polynesian culture. Im currently working toward my Aircraft and Powerplant certification while restoring a WWII-era BT-13 trainer (Serial #0051) that once served in Paraguay as a father son project and family legacy project.

Im also a firm believer in intentional parentingspending time raising my kids, leading my family, and cultivating the kind of legacy that lasts beyond a lifetime.

Im interested in the revitalizing the traditional Malae system across the Hawaiian Islands, studying 妡lelo Hawai妡i and Polynesian history.

When Im not wrenching on planes or digging through archives, youll find me tending to our backyard orchard, grounded in the simple joy of growing and raising our family.

God has called us to a high standardand that means men must lead by the example Christ laid out for us. Paul writes, Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. (1 Corinthians 16:13, NIV)

As men, were called to lead with intention, humility, capability and strength from God. Matthew 13:25 reminds us, But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. This reminds me of Leonard Ravenhill妡s quote, Entertainment is the devils substitute for joy.

Therefore I gather that men must take actionto be alert, capable, present and intentional. Im a firm advocate for throwing out the TV, tablet and whatever is distracting your family and raising them outside. We must rise to the calling God has given us as leaders of our homes, our families, and our communities.
